“Chill on Park, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester,and the Boston City Singers hosted an Evening of Holiday Fun on Friday, December 16. The night kicked off with a dramatic reading by Children’s Book Author Michael Lewis. He read two pirate-themed Christmas stories titled: The Great Pirate Christmas Battle and Battle for the Knotty List. Kids gathered around while enjoying a free scoop of ice cream courtesy of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester. After a second round of stories, the Boston City Singers took the stage with a selection of holiday songs. Guests enjoyed soup and ice cream while listening to the wonderful performance. Ten percent of all sales from Chill on Park from 3-7 p.m. were donated to the Boston City Singers.” – Dorchester Reporter
